New Bern Battlefield Visitor Center
Three cheers for the folks in New Bern who dedicated their visitor center at the New Bern Battlefield this past weekend. For details, see article from the Sun Journal here.
While recognition of the 1862 action is exciting, I hope that the action of April 1864 isn't missed and can eventually be included in some way at the site.
