Once again, it has been too long since I did this. But here
it goes, a look around the different news sources for stories connected to
North Carolina and the War.
USA Today reported a few days ago that the Haywood County Commissioners
are moving to limit the display of the Confederate flag on courthouse lawns to
one day a year - Confederate Memorial Day. You can read more here.

The Amarillo Globe News reports that the last son of a
Confederate soldiers in Texas has died. The soldier had served in the 29th
North Carolina Troops. Click here to check out the story.
