Friends, I've not done this in forever, but here is a look
around at different news stories concerning the War in North Carolina.
The Charlotte Observer
reports this morning that the SCV in Monroe is one step closer to erecting
a monument to black Confederate soldiers from the area. Check it out here.

Lots of news out there about the recent commemoration of the
