On the road...
Folks – I have a book signing this evening – Spruce Pine Public Library in Mitchell County, 7:00 pm. I have another at Mayland Community College on Wednesday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. I hope to see you there.
Michael, I love your passion for history. I am a historical artist who recently spent time in the presence of the Virginia's 28th Infantry Divisions flag captured at the battle of Gettysburg by the first Minnesota. I intend to paint that flag as accurately as I can and wondered if you would want me to paint the 58th North Carolina flag that needs repair. Prints could be sold to help pay for restoration. I just finished the North Carolina state flag and it is posted on my blog for you to see if you want to see my style. Prints of this flag will be available soon. Go to: http://bergerfineartsnews.blogspot.com/ Let me know what you think of my work. Do you want to work on a project? Keep up the good work. Best regards: Steve Berger www.bergerfinearts.com
