I am again at a very frustrating point in the 58th NCT manuscript. Once more, I cannot even get the brigade in the right place. I am writing about the battle of Peechtree Creek. I know that their corps, temporarily under Cheatham, has been ordered to hold the attention of the Federals while Hardee and Stewart attack on the flank. But I seem to be at a loss as to where the different divisions and brigades of the corps line up. I do not like having unanswered questions when I write. Yes, I know that there will always be unanswered questions, but, we are talking about the whole corps.
Oh well, I guess I need to just keep digging.
